The Promise of a Perfect Law Keeper That Brings Us Salvation (Promise 3)

The-Promise-3.png

If we could keep all of God’s laws, we wouldn’t need Jesus, it’s as simple as that.  Jesus didn’t come to abolish the law but to fulfill it (Matt 5:17) because we all fall short of God’s standard.  We can’t do it no matter how hard we try, despite our best intentions. So do we throw in the towel and keep living in sin while relying on God’s forgiveness or do we try to make it on our own righteousness by comparing ourselves to others? If you truly love someone do you continually break their heart?  If our own righteousness is enough why did Christ have to suffer and die on the cross to bear our sins?
