The Promise of a True and Righteous King (Promise 4)

The-Promise-4.png

The loyalty to a King and responsibilities of a King are no longer well known to us, but think of a politician, a president.  What if there was one you never had to second guess motives, never had to suspect backroom deals, never had to question their integrity or never had to doubt where their loyalty lies? What if like Balin from The Hobbit you could undeniably say, “There is one I could follow, there is one I could call King.”  God promised a Savior, a King from the royal line of David- a shoot from the stump of Jesse (Isaiah 11:1) that would do just that for his people.  Jesus the King of Kings and deserving of our unwavering loyalty.
